Cobalt is where ideas come to thrive and where products are made. We believe that solutions to the world’s hardest problems can come from anyone and anywhere.

We make things that matter, that have a purpose and that can change the world for the better.  We are the global workforce of ideators, designers and engineers. We are Cobalt.

At Cobalt, we believe work matters, that how we spend our days is how we spend our lives and that the most precious human resource is our innate creativity. We believe that this creativity is inside each and every one of us and that solutions to the world’s hardest problems can come from anyone, anywhere across the globe.  All we have to do is ask.

Cobalt is on a mission to redefine what it means to go to work, to have a job, to make work matter more and infuse it with a kind of purpose that is deeply personal. And most importantly, to provide unprecedented economic opportunity to anyone with an idea and a smartphone.

We aim to fundamentally disrupt the relationship between employer and employee, to empower more individuals and their ideas so they don’t just have a job, but a dream that they are working towards. And that is because, at Cobalt, we believe that people don’t want jobs, they want to wake up inspired everyday to work on their dream. They want to work on what they want, with whom they want, from where they want when they want.  And we believe that by aligning incentives properly, we can create stunning results for corporations who are brave enough to tap into the hidden human creativity outside their corporate walls, laying dormant in every corner of the world.

We exist to empower the human spirit by rewarding creativity, to create a new business model, a new kind of “work” that shows the world that our collective destiny is not to be glorified Uber drivers, tied to hourly rates and stifled by corporate bureaucracy.  We intend to demonstrate to the world what the jobs of the future looks like – they’re not jobs but something else entirely. And to do it with a smile because we know that since we are the ones creating the future, it’s going to be nothing short of amazing.
